Woohoo I joined too!

My app was verified 10/18, but I submitted additional letters of recommendation through the start of November. I called and asked when their review period was coming up and had been told early November. I received my admission decision 11/30, but my letter was dated for 11/22.

I am excited to meet everyone as well! I checked for a FB group for our cohort group too and couldn't find one... anyone interested in setting one up?

I just got my acceptance for the May 2018 cohort! I am so excited. Is anyone else starting in this cohort as well?

There was some kind of confusion with my application, but I found out today that I have been ACCEPTED for the May cohort! I cannot wait! Does anyone want to connect and talk about next steps? I just paid my $500 deposit and now need to figure out how to coordinate a cross the state country move!

That is great! My partner is from there so I am really hoping to get to make the move. I've heard great things about Milwaukee and lived in Chicago in the past and loved it! I am surprised at how quiet the Marquette boards have been thus far. It seems like there are a lot of people applying/lots of interest.

That is great that you went for Marquette for undergrad! Did you have a good experience? I currently live in WA and was accepted for a school in CA that starts in January, so I am stressed out about whether or not to plan a move to CA or not... I would much rather to go to Marquette! I hope I hear back soon so I can figure out whether or not to move. Best of luck on your wait ml2k1.

Thank you for the info Sarbla. That makes sense! All the answers I had been getting are really vague. I think I probably on the "second string" then, so waiting to hear back after the initial round of acceptances go out. How did the college approach the change in date with you?

Sure... I had a 3.27 overall but 3.8 in my last 60 units (not sure if that matters at Marquette). 3.5 in prerequisites, 310 on GRE (4.5 on writing portion). I had 4 letters of rec (two academic, two professional), and have been working in senior living administration for the past 3 years. I also have 2 years of caregiving experience and worked as an intern in the ICU and ER for a year.

No acceptance or rejection yet... I am anxiously awaiting. The admissions adviser said he hoped I would hear back this week. What was the context of you receiving an August acceptance?

I heard back from the Milwaukee location on 11/20 via email and unfortunately was not admitted. I know they were doing a review in early November. I am VERY anxiously awaiting a response about the PP location. I have called the academic adviser but he cannot talk with me until I receive an official notification from the school. He told me not to worry though... but it is hard not to! How did your August acceptances come? Do you have any more information about why they pushed the start for some to August? When did you hear back? It sounds like there is something going on with my application but when I asked for further details I heard it was not bad. I am really hoping to start at the PP location with you all!

I was waitlisted as well... this seems like a GIANT wait list! Interested to see what happens from here.

No I am not (hopeful though?!) ... I just call them frequently :)!

They have both a priority deadline and then rolling admissions. They accept applications on rolling admissions until the cohort is full.
