Hello everyone. I was searching for a thread but could not find one so I am starting this discussion topic for USF MSN non nurse spring 2018 applications.
Lets all discuss our stats like GPA, volunteer experience, etc. I have a decent prerequisite GPA right now. I have registered for Micro and psychology and will be taking in fall. My undertgrad GPA is 3.15 in computer applications (not that good). After working in customer service I was no longer interested in computers so decided to change my major.

I am anxiously checking my email as well - the nightmare would be if confirmations were to be sent out via snail mail; just yesterday I received my neighbor's mail! I would hate for my answer to be sitting on someone else's counter...

Yeah, I recently moved and have anxiety about my mail being sent to my old address! To my knowledge the only way you'd be alerted via snail mail without having your online admission status changed is if you're wait listed (that's what happened to me last year). Although, as mentioned before, this years process does seem to be very different from past cycles!

I can only speak to my past experiences when applying for the spring 2017 cohort but during that process people were rejected in what seemed to be "waves." I knew several people applying that round who all got rejected at different times starting just a few weeks after the app was submitted and all the way up until around this time. Also, those who I knew that got accepted received a phone call letting them know of their admission status from staff before their status changed online, that doesn't seem to be the plan for this year from what I've read (although they may just want to keep it a surprise). Overall they seem to be more structured this round as in they plan to let everyone know of their admission status at the same time and all the same way.
Yea when I was waitlisted I received a letter in the mail, but no status change online. Everything definitely seems different this time around. Also....still no email. Going crazy over here!!!

Nothing yet! It's weird there are absolutely no status changes for anyone. Guessing we will start hearing some noise earliest on Friday..
