USF MSN-CNL non-nurse summer 2017

Published

Hello everyone! I am currently waitlisted in the spring 2017 cohort starting in Jan for the USF MSN-CNL non-nurse cohort 23, but I wanted to start a thread for those of you applying to the summer 2017 semester because if I don't get off the waitlist I will be reapplying for summer, and if I do get off the waitlist I can help you all with info on how the process works and what to expect. Either way, since I am going through it right now, I hope to be able to help new applicants. This time can be very stressful. Who all out there is applying?

Ours was about 5-6 hours

Hey, Gabriel. I just got informed that the orientation would be on May 16th. More details will be sent out at the first week of April. See you!

thank you...that's exactly what i was hoping to get from the admission letter that i still haven't received... :p

erin emailed me the letter and i see that orientation info wasn't included. nice to know. see you soon!!!)))

Hi! @md21887 I have one more question. :geek: Is it necessary to purchase all the required textbooks for the classes? Thank you!

i would say any book for Patho is needed. the book for Health Assessment is useful as well. Fundamentals is useful at times but I would say it will depend on your teacher for those classes which I assume will be Professor Donnelly (she is mine right now for Health Assessment, Fundamentals and CNL Intro). Sorry to be so confusing but to sum it up everything for Patho is a must buy everything else I would buy and return if you feel it is not needed.

One more thing a working laptop is necessary as you take in class quizzes and exams with a computer. Ipads will not work for the most part.

:) Good to know. Thank you so much for the super helpful info!

Hey, guys! I received an acceptance call earlier today! I guess they might not be making us wait until after April 3rd.
