USF MSN-CNL non-nurse summer 2017

Hello everyone! I am currently waitlisted in the spring 2017 cohort starting in Jan for the USF MSN-CNL non-nurse cohort 23, but I wanted to start a thread for those of you applying to the summer 2017 semester because if I don't get off the waitlist I will be reapplying for summer, and if I do get off the waitlist I can help you all with info on how the process works and what to expect. Either way, since I am going through it right now, I hope to be able to help new applicants. This time can be very stressful. Who all out there is applying?

Thanks! I think it went well. I was happy with my scores on the verbal and quantitative. The waiting 10 days for my analytical writing score is going to drive me wonky.

I just saw this thread but wanted to throw out that you DONT have to take an expensive patho or pharma to apply to Samuel Merritt ABSN. I took pharm at Santa Rosa jc and patho at moorpark, both online and both normal community college prices. I got those schools from the SMU approved list.

Hey everyone! Has everyone submitted their apps yet? I have to withdraw my waitlist application on Jan 13th so that I can reapply :( Super bummed that it seems I won't be getting off the waitlist. There was always that little bit of hope! Now I just have to rewrite my personal statement and my new app is ready to go. How is everyone doing?

The deadline for the ME-MSN Program was in January 15th, 2017. I submitted everything on the 14th. Just a matter of waiting now. After reading many post, I can see why people are so antsy :roflmao:.

Has anyone else applied for summer 2017?

I was waitlisted for spring and the whole process was extremely stressful haha. I'm excited for a fresh cycle and new chance! Did you apply anywhere else? I'm also waiting to hear about Samuel Merritt's FNP MSN program and their CM MSN program.

As of right now, only USF, but I'm also thinking of applying to Sac State's ABSN program. Also, looking into SMU's FNP program.

Good! After applying just to USF this past round I wished I had applied other places for more options. So I quickly got things ready to apply to both programs at Samuel Merritt and reapplied at USF. I also applied to a JC college RN program but that's a major backup!

Yeah I mapped out a whole backup plan before I submitted my application! USF is the top choice though!

Ya USF is a great school! I did my undergrad degree there and it truly is the best! I'm glad we all have each other to get through this cycle!
