USF MSN-CNL non-nurse summer 2017

Hello everyone! I am currently waitlisted in the spring 2017 cohort starting in Jan for the USF MSN-CNL non-nurse cohort 23, but I wanted to start a thread for those of you applying to the summer 2017 semester because if I don't get off the waitlist I will be reapplying for summer, and if I do get off the waitlist I can help you all with info on how the process works and what to expect. Either way, since I am going through it right now, I hope to be able to help new applicants. This time can be very stressful. Who all out there is applying?

I never heard back from them. I'm guessing if you apply to both programs they only consider you for one because I can physically only attend one? Idk haha but I prefer CM because it's a lot shorter! I may get the FNP later down the road :)

I never followed up because it is way too early to hear about acceptances yet!

The summer schedule hasnt hasn't been released yet but when it does come out I'll definitely look that up for you guys and post it here :)

In other news I've been accepted to Samuel Merritt!!!! I'm so excited!!! Just got the email!!

Hello guys,

I also applied for the summer 2017 start and I just checked my application and my status changed. Initially the status read "SUBMITTED" and had the "WILL REVIEW AFTER DEADLINE" right below it. Right now it reads "SUBMITTED". I tried looking through the application portal for a decision since past forums mentioned that if there is a status change like this one it meant you were rejected. Has anyone seen this? Would love to hear from you all.

If anything has changed as far as your admission decision it will probably show up the next day. That's what happened last semester!

@jrlcal I just checked the site too and have the same! Super nervous, but I'm thinking maybe it means they're still reviewing the application?

@aftonheistand I was considering applying, but was unable to take the HESI in time. I'm thinking of applying for the next cycle though!
