USF MSN-CNL non-nurse spring 2017

Hey guys! I wanted to start a threat for those of you applying to USF's MSN-CNL program for this spring! Deadline is Sep 1st, still some time to go! Who is out there that is applying?? :)

The waitlisters have been notified a few days after the second round of acceptances via mailed letter. So it could be 2.5 weeks or more waiting for those who got waitlisted

@aftonheistand and the second round of acceptances was about two weeks after the first?

@amuz actually I was wrong, looking back at summer 2016 it looks like people got mail notification of waitlisting 3 days after the calls started!

And yes, the next round of calls based on previous threads usually happens about 2 weeks after the first round :/

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! I am TERRIFIED at the moment, I have not received any notice, email, or phone call. Also, my portal is the same as it has been. (SUBMITTED- TO BE REVIEWED AFTER DEADLINE).

This is completely agonizing!!!! Crossing my fingers for everyone!!!!!

Who knows.... We all know they accept in waves, this was the first one. Mine still says to be reviewed after deadline. I'm wondering if they haven't even opened our applications yet, sounds crazy but it could be... Idk. Agonizing to say the least is what today has been.

I doubt that they haven't opened our applications yet because I don't think they would reject anyone without reviewing all applications. Maybe we've been waitlisted? I'm also confused as to why they accept in waves... Doesn't make sense that they would tell some of the approvals now and some later unless they're waiting for people to either accept/reject the offer and move down the list. Trying to remain optimistic..

@RDSoul I know what you mean. It seems very subjective and confusing. I don't think everyone was called today. What I think happens is they continue to call people over the course of the next 2 weeks and then as people accept/decline they move down the list of their choices. I honestly have no idea but I heard people saying that is how they do it on other threads. It could be that some of the people who haven't heard yet are wait listed..only time will tell I guess. It has been very subjective in past threads and acceptances/denials are all over the place, not just all at once.

I am struggling with the whole thing today, I would have rather just found out yes or no today...waiting another week or 2 will be torture. The wait list would be torture because it would be more waiting. I guess I am going to try to forget about it this weekend since theres nothing I can do at this point but wait.
