Hey guys! I wanted to start a threat for those of you applying to USF's MSN-CNL program for this spring! Deadline is Sep 1st, still some time to go! Who is out there that is applying?? :)
Hello Everyone! I am relieved to see that I am not the only one waiting. I have been checking for status online but nothing so far. It still says submitted, however I have noticed one difference today and that is that it no longer says application will be reviewed after deadline. So I am not sure If that has anything to do with my application being under review. I will keep everyone posted! Thanks
@future_nurse510 thank you for the update! That may mean that it is under review! Past threads have indicated that this has happened to people, although it wasn't correlated to an acceptance/denial, some students application status did change to just "submitted"! It may indeed mean that it is under review! I was hoping people would start to hear today, but it doesn't look like an eventful day. Maybe tomorrow or next week!
HMMMM interesting! Maybe this means we will finally get answers soon since some of the portals are starting to change!!
@amuz I know right? I can't help it!!! This has been the most excruciating time for a type A planner like myself lol. Im sure there are some of this forum who think we are crazy! LOL I have been anxious all day and tomorrow will probably be worse.
@made90 and @md21887 In response to what we were talking about the other day, my new theory is that SOME PEOPLE MUST find out by this week or next week based on what we know about how the process goes. They notify all the primary applicants first and give them time to either accept or decline the offer. When people decline it, they then go down the list of qualified applicants in order and accept them until the class is full. If they notified acceptances all in week 10, they would be WEEKS late notifying everyone else. I hope my theory is correct. ha ha
@md21887 I know I noticed that too and wished they would have updated the thread on their decision. It probably does not mean anything so don't think too hard into it and stress yourself out! If anything it may mean that they're actually getting the ball rolling on some sort of admission decision? Thats my thought process!

Trying to stay calm as well....I was sooo nervous week 6 and nothing was sent out, and then news came that we wont hear until week 10. I decided to get off the roller coaster and try to focus on other things (Halloween!!!) . Ill get back on it when week 10 comes around...hahaha.
