*For University of San Francisco's Entry MSN program due Sept 1, starting in Spring*
I wanted to start a thread to talk about thoughts, updates on the app process, decisions, etc. I should be submitting my application in a week or so once I finish the essays!
Good luck to us all!

I got a hold of financial aid and waiting to hear back from the program administrator but this is what financial aid told me:
"Currently, we will have remote learning up until the end of Spring and the President's Cabinet will re-evaluate the status of returning to campus Summer 2021. We hope to return to campus Fall 2021 but it is not official until the logistics are reviewed this upcoming Summer."
A student who is currently in the program told me the school has been fighting for students to fulfill their clinicals so they've been let into some hospitals so honestly...my plan is to probably just move sometime in the Spring to play it safe. Private message me! It would be nice to be friends so we can stay connected! ?
For anyone who got into the OC program: please feel free to message me so we can be friends! I'm sure we'll need all the help we can get during these covid times. Everything is so uncertain.
THANK YOU to whoever rejected their SF admission because I got the news that I was taken off the waitlist and admitted this week! This was my second time applying.. it still doesn't feel real!
Is there a facebook group for SF 31 Cohort yet? Any idea when we'll be on-campus again? I imagine it'd be the same as OC- probably Fall, maybe Summer. It would be nice to connect with everyone while we wait to meet in person.

Hey Mary! Just put of curiosity: did you give up your seat due to getting into another program or did you feel the USF didn’t have what you wanted for your nursing career? Best of luck!

I am in the same boat, any information would be much appreciated!

Yeah I gave up the seat because of the amount of tuition and housing loans I would been to take out. Not for the program at all, I think Its amazing! My personal reason was that after I spoke to a quite a few healthcare friends/ professionals and a financial advisor, I became very concerned. Since I have very little money saved to attack tuition , and I would need to find housing in SF, the total cost of everything was going to hurt my paycheck pretty bad after a new nurse for 7+ years of loans. I also realized that I just didn’t feel complete , considering they weren’t offering BSN + MSN, which they really should have considering the cost ?

Hi!
This is also my first time applying to a program. I am 22. I graduate this December with my Bachelors in Public Health. My undergraduate GPA is 3.8 and my prerequisite GPA was 3.8. For the 3 science courses I received A in anatomy, A in physio, and B in microbio. I have been working as a scribe for two doctors at a family practice for over 3 years now. I explained in my paper how much knowledge I gained from my scribing and how it better prepared me for the program. I also did research with a professor at my university regarding telemedicine during times of COVID-19 and helped write up the reports for our findings.
Goodluck to everyone!
