  1. Has anyone heard any information on like orientation dates for main campus? And does a fb group chat exist for fall 2021?
  2. Hi all! I applied for fall 2021 however was put into the Spring 2022 cohort in APU main campus. Look forward to meeting my cohort!
  3. I actually applied for fall 2021 last year but got accepted into Spring 2022.
  4. Does anyone know how to get their APUnet ID? I got an email to check my account but IDK what my ID is or how to set it up
  5. Hi! I’m in Spring 22 as well! I didn’t get a letter. I think there will be an announcement soon since the deposit deadline recently passed.
  6. Thats great! If you don't mind me asking, where will you be going instead?
  7. Also just did the interview! Goodluck to everyone!
  8. Hi!! Do you mind sharing why you decided not to do the EAO day?
  9. I also received the email! Goodluck guys ??
  10. Havent heard anything yet either! I definitely thought we would hear something back by now.
  11. No problem! I know its a difficult choice, but both are great options. From what I know I think WesternU is around 90K in tuition and that I believe includes cost of living, so if your commuting that'll save you money! But I hope you find out more in the interview, let us know! Best of luck!
  12. From the website itself: "Our MSN-Entry program offers a path for graduates from non-nursing fields to obtain a MSN and RN license in 2 years." https://prospective.westernu.edu/nursing/MSN-entry/
  13. Hi! I am actually going through the same decision process LOL. I got into APU ELM program, haven't heard from WesternU yet but I wanted to evaluate both options in case I got in. After a lot of research and much digging here is what I've found out! APU is a 4 year commitment program. The first 2 years of the program you work on getting your BSN. Then the final 2 years you work on getting your masters and FNP. So after 4 years you finish with a masters and FNP. WesternU on the other hand gives you a masters in 2 years (versus 4)! Then after the first 2 years you are required to work as an RN for about a year (which is good because you gain experience and money). Then you have the option to either continue with WesternU at their FNP program (which you will be given first priority for) which will be only a year long. OR you can choose to purse a higher education such as a doctorates and become an DNP or you can decide to pursue your NP certification elsewhere, you aren't required to stay at Western. Each have their pros and cons. I personally would love to go to western because I would be given more liberty to choose more advanced careers and specialties and it would take me less time to get a masters. They also expect you to work while attending the FNP program which is mainly online so you have the ability to make money while attending. Hope I helped. You can DM me if you have more questions ?
  14. @adr6789 that’s so great!! Congrats!!
