Used Suzanne's Plan and passed!

Published

Hi everybody. I'm giddy right now as I just checked the California Board of Nursing site. Took the NCLEX Saturday, June 7 and left Pearson Vue without a clue as to pass or fail. Anyways, this morning found out I had passed. I used Suzanne's plan exclusively and highly recommend it. After graduating from an accelerated nursing program in January '07, I needed a total RN refresher course. The Saunder's book and CD is a great learning tool. I admit it does get tedious after a while, but in keeping the faith sticking to it, my learning curve and test scores increased dramatically. Thanks Suzanne for your thoughtful and successful plan! Thanks for this fantastic website allnurse.com where we can gather together, sharing our thoughts, ideas, fears dreams, failures and yes....our successes!

Keep the faith NCLEX candidates. Your day will come.

Congrats

Did you use the 3rd or the 4th edition of Saunders? I currently have the 3rd edition. Does anyone know if there is a difference.

If you are going to be writing the RN exam, you need to be using the 4th edition or you will not get any of the new format questions.

Most definitely invest in the new book, the third edition is actually quite old now from when it was written.

I am interested in doing Suzanne's plan however I do not know the actual date I will be taking the exam yet. I know that we have to put all the required info in the PM, but what do I do if I do not have a date? Any help is welcome. Thanks!

You must actually complete the first tip that is posted in a sticky on this forum. Please do not contact me until that is done.

You are unable to send a pm to me until you have 15 posts.

Congrats! Did you use any other study tools besides Suzanne's plan? Just wondering...

My program requires that nothing else be done with it, or then it is not my program. That is also one of the reasons that it is never sent out more than two months before the test date either.

Congrats!!! Whooo hooo!:yeah::nurse:
