  1. Dear Ataturk35... You were so right...RNQuiz.com wasn't beneficial. I think I was looking, as many NCLEXers are prone to do, for the magical silver bullet. Saunders did it all for me with its content and Suzanne's Plan provided the framework and gave me the confidence to know I could succeed.
  2. Thanks Fiona...I'm on it...
  3. I'm also interested in nursing jobs in Afghanistan. Have just nicked the surface in researching agencies (KBR, etc.). Anybody out there have any luck or better yet, links!
  4. Keep the faith before, during and after. Best of luck today! :wink2::wink2::wink2::wink2::wink2:
  5. Hi everybody. I'm giddy right now as I just checked the California Board of Nursing site. Took the NCLEX Saturday, June 7 and left Pearson Vue without a clue as to pass or fail. Anyways, this morning found out I had passed. I used Suzanne's plan exclusively and highly recommend it. After graduating from an accelerated nursing program in January '07, I needed a total RN refresher course. The Saunder's book and CD is a great learning tool. I admit it does get tedious after a while, but in keeping the faith sticking to it, my learning curve and test scores increased dramatically. Thanks Suzanne for your thoughtful and successful plan! Thanks for this fantastic website allnurse.com where we can gather together, sharing our thoughts, ideas, fears dreams, failures and yes....our successes! Keep the faith NCLEX candidates. Your day will come. Mariposamimi, RN
  6. Great post! Good for you, and most of all, congratulations.
  7. Wishing you happiness in your success. Enjoy the moment to the max!
  8. On the Saunder's CD, once you're on the Main Menu...look to the bottom right and the Alternative Question section is there smiling and waiting for you to click it!
  9. Here are several SATA sources that will provide hours of fun practicing SATA: Prioritization, Delegation Assignment (Mosby book) no CD; NCLEX Review 4000 (Lippincott, William, Wilkins, etc.) CD program which contains SATA and other alternative type questions; and of course not last and not the least is, Saunders Comprehensive NCLEX-RN 4th Edition Book..CD contains 4000 + questions with althernative question section...can select for SATA type questions. Good Luck!
  10. I'm planning to take the NCLEX at the end of April. Have finished most of the Saunders 4th Edition CD and am starting the set of Pharm questions.:typing Also, just received the NCLEX review 4000 by Wolters Kluwer, Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins...it's the latest. (I read that Lippincott is teaming up with Kaplan for NCLEX training) Will construct some tests with this CD and see how I score. Keep studying guys...practice is gonna make perfect!
  11. I've been prepping thus far with Saunders and Lippincott 3500 but prior to taking the NCLEX, I'd like to purchase an on-line test bank program and gain exposure to new and different questions. I'm interested in hearing from those of you out there who have used RnQuiz.com. Although less expensive by far than Kaplan, wondering if it's a quality product and am especially concerned with quality of questions and rationales. Would be great to hear from someone who has used both Kaplan and RnQuiz and can compare and contrast. Thanks!
  12. You go. Sounds like you're ready. Can't wait to hear your ++++story. I'm still in study mode, but feeling the urge to take the NCLEX challenge. Be brave because you know your stuff!
