Hey fellow nurses, I have a strong passion lately in working with adoptive/birth families. Locally we have a wonderful agency and as crazy as this sounds I contacted them with potentially using my nursing knowledge and wrapping it into their practice. I have worked L&D for approx 5 yrs now. My questions to everyone is have you ever heard of a job description with a adoption firm?? I just feel like it could be so helpful to both sides. To be both pt's advocates during the time. The firm I contacted wanted additional info and I don't know how to express to them what I am looking for in a position. I just know that in my head it would be a perfect job I just need assistance in finding out if this type of position has ever been created! Please let me know what you all do in yor states. Thank you!

Thanks guys! I have decided that this test may the only way to obtain my lic. but I know I am good enough. I will just keep working hard at it and I am not a quiter that is for sure! I don't have my official results but I am 99.9% sure that I failed. I am going to review and just not let this consume my every thought. THANKS AGAIN!

What do you mean "especially 265"? Is that really bad if I took that many??

:uhoh3:Well, Here we go!! Tomorrow is the big, VERY BIG day!I have to say my nerves have been shot all day. I didnt know if I was going to vomit or cry! But, I know I am going into this with the most positive attitude I can! I deserve this and I will not stop until I can put those two letters behind my name. I worked too hard for this!! So say a short prayer for myself and those that are also testing! I know we will get through this together! THANKS A MILLION TIMES!

Hello Everyone, It's final I have a date, the 18th of October. I also have a time 0900. I can't help to be going crazy (:uhoh3:obsessing)! I didn't have such good results back in July. I failed! I don't ever want to have the feeling of disappointment again! I just ask if all of you can and would, please take a few minutes and say a short prayer for my success! I feel as though prayer is the best option but I don't want the pressure of telling everyone I know the date, so I am asking my other family ,YOU please pray for me!! I know I am worthy of being a RN. I am good at it and that is my dream! So, I really need the encouragement and PRAYERS!! Thank you for everything in advance!! I can't wait to post my positive story also!

I am not a first weeker test taker, but I really could use your thoughts and NUMEROUS prayers. I take my nclex-RN on the 18th. This will be my 2nd time. I have studied numerous things since failing in July. I am not sure that I am "ready" but I dont know that I ever will be ready to do through this again. I would love to have all your support and prayers. This is a very positive thread and I need to be apart of it. I will also continue to pray for those still awaiting the RN behind their names. 45 Days. I didnt pass on my first attempt. I called just today ( I failed Thursday) and they told me 45 days. They will send out a packet. Are you taking a review class or what is your plan?? I am trying to figure out what I am going to do now! I really have no idea the best route to take. I didnt think there was going to be a second time. But, I am over that and trying to figure out what I can do!

HEllo! I read your thread and wanted to leave you short message.... I totally can relate to your feelings. I found out today that I also didnt pass. I, as you, had a TON of unknown meds on my exam. I was absolutely stumped with the questions. I just simple didn't know the correct anwsers. What is the Suzanne Plan?? I want to begin preparing for the next attempt and I am determined I WILL PASS THIS NEXT TIME! I was going to enroll in a review class but I dont want to delay taking the test. Also, everyone one I have seen is so expensive. So, I wanted some info on this plan you were talking about! I wish the best of luck. I know EXCACTLY how you are feeling! Hello All, I am sitting here just absolutely horrified! I failed. I don't know what to even say or do. I am just so dissapointed. I had so many people awaiting my results and I feel like the dumbest biggest let down of my life so far. What do I do to study correctly for this exam? I read the kaplan book front to back this time. I did not do a review session bc my school didn;t offer it. But, I really put some effort into the test. I know that there seems to always be that one in your class that doesn't pass but I didn't want to be "THAT ONE". What do I do?? I live in Indiana. Does anyone know about a good review class or anything. Because honestly I don't know what else to study. I hate this. Has anyone ever gotten the wrong results from the quick results?? Worth trying, right?
