USAGPAN Army CRNA FY24

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hey there..I'm posting this thread seeing who else is applying for the FY24' June start with the Army USAGPAN. I've applied before and know the rigors of the application, the back and fourth paperwork between the recruiter, endless forms, and signatures. I'm retaking an undergraduate class and a graduate science course per the boards recommendation.

Best of luck to everyone.

Someone posted to the facebook group that they heard the admissions board for USAGPAN was meeting on either the 15th or the 18th. IDK the reliability of that source but I've been checking the Baylor site QID anyway ?

I spoke to Jana personally and she stated that the Baylor boards were on the 18th. She stated since it is a Friday we likely won't get letters until the following Monday or Tuesday. We should receive an email letting us know.

Well it's getting close, personally I started this journey around this time last year thinking it was gonna be forever but between getting classes done, GRE and Phase 2/Army board/MEPS stuff it's certainly crazy that we're all so close so I guess in perspective 2 more weeks is a drop of water compared to a whole year

but I'm sure like other people I'll still check every day QID as well ?

Thanks for following up with Jana. It had been mentioned to me in the interview that they were meeting on the 15th but that wasn't anything official from Jana. Glad to have an official answer though! Looks like we'll all be glued to our phones on the 21st and 22nd LOL. Good luck!

Hello from Colorado everyone!

Little late to the thread, but I also applied and was selected by the commissioning board for FY24.  Now just anxiously waiting to hear back from Baylor like the rest of you.

I've been a CVICU nurse for eight years, have a wife and three kiddos.

Question for anyone in the program or has previously completed.  I'm a current reservist and have completed DCC and BOLC.  I'm told I won't have to repeat these courses.  However, I'm wondering if I'll get orders to PCS in January/February and just report daily/pull staff duty until the course begins in June (seems the more likely option)  Or will do they delay your PCS until April/May?

I requested an invite to the facebook group as well.  Looking forward to talking and meeting each of you!

Today is the day.....well hopefully anyway! Praying for great outcomes! Most likely still won't find out until Monday or Tuesday from what I'm reading on the thread. But we all probably started this process over a year ago so hopefully next few days go by quickly!

Hasn't been much activity on here since decisions came out. I'm not on social media so don't have visibility on the facebook group.

During phase 1 I got an iPad and downloaded notability. This allowed me to have every pdf from class on one device and I could take notes on each slide with my stylus during class. Find a group of like minded people and quiz each other weekly but also spend time before mastering the material so you're not wasting time. Just my 2 cents good luck to you all.

Hey there @MikeyD! Thank you for the advice! I've seen people recommend Good Notes as well. Do you know what differences they have?
