Stumbled across these threads in my search for more information about the USAGPAN. After reading through the 2020 and 2021 posts, I have to say MikeyD... you are the man.
I’m currently a 66S with the reserves, and am looking to apply in 2022 after completing OChem (most likely through ICCC Online) and the GRE.
To the best of anyone’s knowledge, outside of the CCRN, does much weight get put into other professional accomplishments? Charge nurse, committee/project involvement, Daisy/Nightingale nominations, etc.? I’m fairly involved at my current hospital, but if this participation doesn’t help me achieve my goal of acceptance into the program then I would rather refocus my efforts to studying.
As a reservist, I will already have completed DCC and BOLC prior to my application. If I were to be accepted, would I start in June like it sounds like VA students do or would I just repeat?
