UPENN BSN MSN 2020

With the application deadline in ~30 days I figured, why not make a thread for applicants? I could've sworn I started a thread for this last week but can no longer find it. I'm applying for the PMHNP speciality and although UPenn is a relatively new addition, I have fallen in love with their program. Looking forward to replies from everyone.

@Riri35 nothing is set in stone at this point because of all the changes but march seem like a plausible time frame just so students can have more time to prepare for it.

Congratulations on getting an interview! I also applied for the direct entry CNM program, but was told that they were not doing interviews this year and that we would hear back in February about acceptances.

That's so weird. Maybe something about my application makes them want to know how committed I am to going if accepted... I've been accepted into an online program but Penn is my preference. Hmm, I'll try to ask about interviews and report back.

Anyone have an idea when decisions will be coming out? Or are they going to make us wait until mid-Feb?

@MaleNP My understanding is we have to wait until February.

Also for everyone that asked about sending updated transcripts that include fall semester grades....I sent an email to [email protected] with a PDF of my transcript attached and they got back to me within a few hours indicating they have received and uploaded my updated transcript to my application.

Hey all! New to the thread and happy to meet you all. ?

Does anyone have any information about how likely it is to get financial aid and scholarships from Penn's SON? I would love to attend Penn's BSN-MSN program, it has everything I am looking for in a program, but of course the thought of all that student debt is overwhelming!
