2018 UPenn BSN/MSN

Published

Greetings fellow 2018 UPenn BSN/MSN applicants! Just thought I could start a thread for the incoming applicants so we can help each other out through the application process.

Does anyone know if we need to submit separate transcripts for study abroad programs if it's already clearly stated on our official undergraduate transcript? Thanks! : )

Yeah I applied for pediatric primary care, but by the looks of things, only CNM has heard back?

I applied to the Second Degree ABSN program and I have not heard anything yet! I have been refreshing my email like crazy.

I have a feeling that we won't find out today! :(

Me either! I am so nervous and can't wait to hear back already! The most stressful part is that we may just never hear anything back! :(

yeah its getting later and later and no one has heard anything yet :( well atleast we aren't alone. I'm even getting excited when people are posting here.. wondering if anyone from my track has gotten an interview and I didnt lol. Good luck to us all :)

I started a UPenn ABSN 2018 thread for those of us who just applied to that program. All are welcome: https://allnurses.com/online-nursing-schools/upenn-2018-absn-1136490.html

Okay everyone, to help out those that are new to this thread this is what we know so far:

Adult Gero and CNM invites to interviews have started to be sent out. I don't know if this is for both primary care and acute. All we know is that the people who applied for Adult Gero have received invites. No one has mentioned Women's Health but it is likely that those invites were sent out along with the CNM invites since they are so closely related.

Looks like we are still waiting for Psych, Peds, and Neonatal unless someone tells us differently. Then we also have the non clinical specialties for Health Leadership and Health Administration.

Obviously, not everyone that applied is on these boards so bear that in mind as we are waiting but normally we should get a few from each specialty based on past observation.

***For the new people to the thread, Penn is NOT interviewing for the FNP specialty due to the high volume of applications so if you are waiting for an interview invite you will not be receiving one as Penn is not conducting interviews for FNP this year.

Please add to the thread if I have missed anything.

WHAT IF THIS IS GOING ALPHABETICALLY BY SPECIALTY?!?!?!?! Which totally makes sense. But they said they would send emails out today, but judging by posts I've read from previous years, that isn't always the case!

Hey there everyone - long time lurker here :) I applied to the AGACNP specialty and received my invitation for an interview on 11/13. Any other AGACNP applicants out there? I opted to visit the campus and interview in person even though I live on the West Coast.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!! :)

@sgucb9 Congrats! Also flying in from the West Coast but for AGPCNP :)

Do you think we wouldn't hear anything? They would just reject us?

Still haven't heard anything back from psych, I really think they're doing them in some kind of order. For now, it's just a waiting game :(
