UPenn BSN/MSN 2012

Congrats to everyone who got interview invitations! I just stumbled onto this thread today. I also applied to Penn's BSN/MSN program and got an interview.

FNPHopeful2012, I know how you feel because I was anxious all week and didn't hear from them until Friday, too! I applied to the FNP program as well.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the stats for Penn's BSN/MSN applicants are, like how many people they interview and how many people they accept. Just wanted to know what my chances were, since I'm pretty sure I got lucky by getting an interview invite. Also, where can I find past threads on past Penn applicants? Thanks!

Hello everyone! I've read a bunch on here about people who applied to MSN specialties receiving interviews. Has anyone who applied to only the BSN portion heard back regarding interviews? I know that the email said BSN Second Degree Candidates would hear between November 7, 2011 and January 23, 2012, but I was just curious.

I applied just for BSN as well and I haven't heard anything. Maybe they're waiting until they finish MSN interviews? I hope we hear soon!

so.. for the MSN applicants, how did your interviews go? I think mine went well, the woman was very friendly and warm. I guess we can expect to hear back in January?? What did you guys think of the campus and feel of the program??

Pink_Zebra, I'd love to hear more. I did a phone interview, so I wasn't able to experience the campus, get a feel for the faculty, etc. Any information you have would be great! How did it seem? Were there current students or alumni? What is Philadelphia like? (I'm a west coaster). ANY details or info would be great! :) This is a top choice for me and I wish I could have flown out for an interview. If I am admitted I will definitely have to come and visit.
