Hello Everyone!!
It is finally my time to post to this forum! EXCITING!!! I did not see a thread for Fall 2020 and I might be SUUUUPER early but man that nursing application process takes proper a year doesn't it?
I am done with all my general courses and TEAS except for nursing chem, one elective (health and human disease), Patho, Pharm, and Intro to Nursing. I plan to take CHEM 1451 and HEED 4312 in the Fall 19 semester, apply in January, and then while waiting on that, take Patho and Intro to Nursing in Spring 2020 and Pharm by itself in Summer 2020.
I have an A in Micro, A&P 1, and A&P 2. This has been a LOOOONG journey and I cannot wait to start!

It s either that or vise versa, but one that they do in 2 shots, 60 days in between (here in UTA health center) needs a titer 30 days after the 2 nd shot. The one that is 3 shoots in 6 months doesn't need titer. This is what they told me there - 100 % guaranteed , unless they f**D up again, but that s what I got left - 1 titer and 1 shot for hep A, which would be 6 months after shot 1
The hepatitis B is three vaccines and then a titer afterwards.

Hepatitis B if you’re not immune is three vaccinations and then a titer after. Hepatitis A if you’re not immune is two shots as indicated on the form I put on my last post which is the University of Texas Arlington immunization checklist
but for B they made me do only 2 shots ( as far as a I member there were some changes in the UTA health center) on the vaccines they used, they incorporated something new that is 2 shots only 30 days apart and then 30 days later a titer..... they also allow the accelerated vaccine for Hep A now done in a different hospital they dot offer it which takes 2-3 months. Dr . Flores told me that. Last semester that absolutely were denying that.
