Anyone have any insight on this program? I'm in the process of applying and would love to know about the school!

I don't have any healthcare experience and I want to apply for Fall....I just wanted to know if my chances were still ok or if I should just stick with the other schools??

Specializes in None yet ;-).

Hey samiam, I am no authority on usf guidelines but best idea would be to play it safe an apply to all the schools you can! I applied to only 3 schools was happy I spread myself out (got wait listed by unf and waiting to here from ucf.)

Oh I've applied to every school I can....and I'm re-taking my TEAS just in case lol.

Found out today I was accepted to the Summer 2012 program.....hopefully see you all soon :)

Me too!! We should get together!

Is the accelerated summer program different from the upper division one? Also, I don't live in Tampa, and I'm looking for some good apts near the school, any suggestions? :)

"Application Status has been changed to ACCEPTED." :yeah:
I just got my acceptance a couple days ago and I'm freaking out! I had been all set to start in a couple weeks at South University (I had already ordered my scrubs and shoes and equipment). I don't know ANYTHING about USF's ABSN. I would love to connect with someone who graduated from the program :)

The upper division one is 6 semesters vs 4.

Hello everyone! I have also been accepted for this summer. I just wanted to know if any graduates have any books they would like to donate? Thank you for your help.

Academic Success Workshops

Academic Success workshops are available to all first semester nursing students. Students who receive below a 75% on the Evaluation HESI or subtests may be REQUIRED to attend ALL Academic Success Workshops. Failure to do so may result in Dismissal from the College of Nursing. The Evaluation HESI will be given Friday, August 27 from 9am to 1pm. Attendance is mandatory. Further details will be provided at Orientation/ Match Days.

that's what was in the email about HESI

Is this still the case? I haven't gotten anything about this.

Specializes in Peds OR as RN, Peds ENT as NP.

Yes, I had to do it. Not sure if it will be the case when you get there.
I just got accepted in USF, but it seems like there are more credit hours (69 credit hours) than UCF (57 credit hours). I couldn't apply to UCF, and still waiting hearing from FSU regular program. Good Luck to you, all !!

Did you end up attending?
