Hello all, I am currently trying to get all my vaccination records together...I have had shots at a couple of different hospitals I worked at and trying to get them all together is a nightmare! I'm 42 so all my old records do not show the same vaccines that are required now. It was never an issue with my ADN or BSN programs....they accepted what I had...I hope it doesn't affect me at USA!!

I had to have all of the same paperwork last year when I did a travel nursing assignment so getting all the documents together was a breeze. You could always get shot records from your local health department, they may or may not have an up to date record but it's worth a shot.

Has anyone gotten their JAG number yet? They're letting me change from pnp to acpnp but I need my number to fill out the form. Tried to request it and they said I wasn't a USA student.

I got my jag number in an Email back in April.

This TB thing is ridiculous. I recently switched jobs and had the 2 step process done 2 months ago and they don't like how it was documented so are not accepting it. Ugh!

I had something similar happen. Thankfully I had a one step a few months after that landed in the 10-12 months from now section so I was able to just go and get another 1 step from med express.

Hey guys and gals,

To the individual asking about the site- I have had trouble with it being down now and then but managed to get everything in. The only hiccup I had was that the number it listed to verify my employment was actually a woman's personal cell who is not related to Certified. The poor lady said she'd been getting calls all week on various students. I contacted Certified through the instant chat and let them know.

I was wondering if anyone here knew about orientation. The acceptance letter I got says orientation will be 8/21/14 and the acceptance packet says 8/28/14. Is it both days? Just need to know for work purposes.

I'm also interested in finding out about the condensed schedule. I would love to be able to progress quickly but I would need to know as I couldn't work and do that schedule.

I think it's both days 9-3, but could be wrong.

The paper we signed says August 21rst 9-3, I assume it's live. It also says there is an orientation website we have to participate in from July 28th-Aug 21rst. I imagine we'll have access to some website in that time we have to view. There's also an on campus orientation you'll have to attend if you plan on doing the condensed program. You'll see that on your chosen Np path site and it applies because you would start clinical your first semester.

Not a lot of time to plan at all. I called admissions today about getting my jag number. Apparently they haven't even sent the list of admitted students to them yet so there's nothing they can do. The site says to allow 7 weeks from the time you get your acceptance letter, if that's the case it would be September before we could even register for classes, not counting setting up financial aid. Guess the frustration isn't over yet :)

Per the registration office classes starts on August 18 however, we have orientation on the 21st...what is wrong with this picture. How will we be able to register w/o the jag#? We have just about five weeks to go and I hope they can get it together b/c my patience is wearing thin.

I had a question also about the webinar also because I had to make sure I am off work that day. I also noticed that it said the 21st somewhere and the 28th somewhere else. I emailed USA and confirmed that the mandatory webinar is august 21st from 9-3 cst.

From what I understand, after they receive our completed packet they will contact us if there is availability in the classes we would need to take to have the condensed schedule. It said not to ask about our schedule before then. I completed all the requirements in certified background and they should be getting my packet in the mail today. It took me awhile to get everything together. I'm not sure how long it will be before they let us know. But I'm hoping we find out soon. Because like others, my work schedule depends on whether or not I will be doing the condensed schedule. I haven't heard of anyone finding out about their schedule yet, but when anyone does, if you can please post so we can all get an idea of when we can expect to hear.
