  1. I did AGNP track and had 5 job offers before I graduated...job prospects isn't a problem but you need to do what you love.
  2. Visit Johns Hopkins or Cleveland clinic website and search their heart transplant and LVAD resources
  3. FNP and ACNP are 2 totally different program that requires different certification. Sounds like you may need to look into a Emergency tract program where you will be trained both as an FNP and a ACNP...at which point you will be able to site both exams. So, the answer to your question is no. You cannot LEGALLY work as an acute care NP with an FNP certification.
  4. Not sure if this is too later...Overall it's a great program! It a lot of hard work and commitment. Mediocre work won't cut it, 87 is the pass mark for clinical courses plus each clinical semester has an on campus testout! Had a 3.9 when I applied most of who I have meet had similar GPA's.
  5. It is NOT acceptable! I have been yelled at once and I guarantee that he won't make that mistake again...whenever we run into each other he can't even look me in the face😎You of to learn the art of "respectful embarrassment"
  6. No...I email and have left numerous voice mails still no reply. This is getting a little ridiculous given the orientation begins August 10(for the condense sched.)...I would like to know so I can book my flight and find a place to stay. If this is any indication of how the program is run I would rather spend the extra money and go to GWU. If I don't get a response by Friday I will withdraw my application.
  7. You need to return the last ten pages of the acceptance package...the pages are numbered.
  8. Finally got a letter stating application received...it also had my jag# and registration info.
  9. Per the registration office classes starts on August 18 however, we have orientation on the 21st...what is wrong with this picture. How will we be able to register w/o the jag#? We have just about five weeks to go and I hope they can get it together b/c my patience is wearing thin.
  10. @apei here the # 251-445-9400 wishing you all the best!
  11. Where did you guys located the following forms? Communicable Disease form, Health Insurance form, Physical Examination and HIPPA form...somewhere in the multitude of papers it said mandatory physical examination form. I email advisor still waiting on a reply.
  12. Thanks Esme12...you just gave me a refresher. I love it when we can help each other, it's a shame that we spend so much time on this site criticizing each other instead of sharing our knowledge.
