I got my letter on the 19th eve, I was not accepted, but was given the option to roll my admission over to spring. The nursingcas calculated my GPA as 3.15. I was told that more qualified people with higher GPAs applied to the PMHNP at this time. I will roll my admission but will not hope on them. I will go ahead and start Masters program in July With GCU. Then will apply to get my certification afterwards. Congratualtions and best of luck with anything you decided!!!

Accepted to the PNP program ^_^. GPA was 3.27 cumulative and a bit less for nursing. The wait is finally over!

I got in!!!! MSN FNP. To all those who got in, CONGRATS! To all those who didn't get in, it's one single school among many. There *is* a school out there worthy of your presence. Don't give up on your dream!!!

My GPA is a 3.5 cum and 3.5 for Nursing but I have 7 years of experience, all in Pediatrics. I think they look at experience as well as GPA. Now to get started gathering up all the necessary items to admit to the school!

Hello all!! It's been a while since I posted on allnurses! Anyhow, I came home in the morning on the 20th after a night shift at a crisis center where I work, checked the mail, and got my acceptance letter!! PMHNP program!! Been a Psych nurse for 3 years now and absolutely LOVE my job. I think all the PMHNP guys/gals should get into contact with each other, after all, we are all classmates now!!

I got in to PMHNP also!! Is anyone trying to do the condensed schedule? I am going to attempt it....I hope I can manage it with a full time job and 3 kids/husband. It's going to be rough...

What are you guys doing about your flu vaccine? Say's it's not due until September, are you submitting last years flu's vaccine? I know they were pretty strict about everything being done by the 25th. Have everything done but that and the TB. Which apparently, they have to be done 10-12 months apart. Due to work I had 3 last year, but they still want another one!
