So I just got accepted as a provisional student. Anyone else? Basically from what I understand is I have to maintain a B average for first 9 credits, them will be changed to a regular admission. I have a 4.0 GPA in nursing and pre-requesites. I have a 3.0 in the BA in psych I received 9 yrs ago.

Man... accepted provisionally with a 4.0?? Thats the program I applied to and I definitely didn't have a 4.0 in my undergrad... How much experience as a nurse?

I was thinking maybe because I have a BA in a different degree. 1-1/2 yrs experience as an ER nurse also have my CEN.

This is driving me crazy!! I didn't get my letter yesterday.....I live in KY. I'm hoping it's there today though! Unfortunately my mail doesn't come until 4:30 or so!! Who else is going for Psych NP?

I am going for Psych NP, I have not gotten my letter yet, I am already giving up!! If people who have 4.0 gpa are giving conditional admission, what will happen to me that have just 3.1 gpa? I have a plan B. I will be going to GCU to get my masters in Nursing Leadership and then apply as a post master sudent to do PMHNP which is my heart desire. Thank you and congrants for those that got in and goodluck to those of us still waiting!!!.

I appied to the Psychiatric NP Program....My letter did arrive according to my son. I should know by 6 pm when I arrive home! Best of luck everyone....hang in there for those who are still waiting....
