Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to USA for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP-Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey. Also, I am currently based in FL, anyone else from out of state care to share their experiences with this program being online and all? How was it finding a clinical site and preceptor?

I haven’t heard anything. The last I was told when I asked them on the phone a month ago was mid April.

Hello everyone! I’m pretty late to the game, but I received this email 3/23/21. So I’m wondering if it’ll just be letters this time around.

From what I had read about other semesters it seemed like if you were accepted they sent an email prior to the letter but if you weren’t accepted then you would just receive a letter

I was highly disappointed to rush out to my mailbox upon waking and seeing this, only to find mine had not yet arrived. Living across the country means slightly more snaily mail ??

Hey guys,

So weeks ago, when the first round of acceptance letters were delivered, the director called and we had a conversation about how AGACNP BSN-DNP would not be the best route, as I have not had much experience with ventilators. She advised I apply to the FNP program so they can reflect which will be best for me. Just now, I received an acceptance letter from both the AGACNP and the FNP. Anyone else in this situation? Im starting as an ER nurse which also entails ICU patient experience, which they know of so I am not sure if they are having me decide or if this is some VERY cruel and unfortunate error haha. I emailed to confirm, but is anyone else in the same boat?

Hey, I applied for AGACNP/FNP but was accepted to FNP/ERNP I do not have ICU experience and had planned to transfer to the SICU, CVICU and MICU while in the program. I haven't spoken to anyone though. Nor did I reach out, I just trust the universe??‍♀️.
