Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to USA for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP-Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey. Also, I am currently based in FL, anyone else from out of state care to share their experiences with this program being online and all? How was it finding a clinical site and preceptor?

The one I did yesterday with all my other titers was just one tube. If they are willing to accept the surface tests, I would think the one tube would be sufficient? But honestly that's just my guess and I hope my one tube works, because who wants to get poked again? ?

I’m in the second group too. Have you heard anything at all from admissions? I only got the email two weeks ago saying they are going to review apps the next week.
I actually applied for a post-master’s certificate, but I have been told admissions works the same way. I’m going for Women’s Health. ?. It’s between this and going to midwifery school at Marquette.
I’m really nervous about having to find my own preceptors, but other than that this program feels like a perfect fit for me.
Fingers crossed for both of us!
I am also in the second group! Applied for BSN to DNP for the FNP specialty. I have a coworker who currently attends for their Acute Care PNP track and she was telling me that she has to self study. Is this the case for all the classes throughout the program? Are there any online lectures?

Agreed, I’m super nervous also! I applied for MSN-Primary care PNP. In Louisiana they’re apparently super strict about online NP schools accreditation with state board so unfortunately, I don’t have many options for PNP at all. I’ve been denied twice so far for FNP due to my GPA so this is my first time applying for a specialty track. Good luck to you!! Please update if you happen to get an email or any info!
Good luck to both of you! Victoria you've been in my thoughts since they pushed you. I know the extra stress from waiting can't have been easy. You got this! And in the end, don't give up hope until you here SOMETHING. We were all freaking when news still hadn't come but then the news started coming in fast! Fingers crossed and good vibes from the pnw as well!
