University of San Francisco Summer 2014 MSN CNL for non-nurses

Hello everyone,

This thread is for the University of San Francisco Masters in Clinical Nurse Leader Program for non-nurses (Summer 2014 cohort) I didn't see one so I decided to make one. Anyone else applying?

Congrats to all those who are getting phone calls and getting accepted! *sighs* the waiting game is so nerve wrecking. I am curious, to those who got in, are any of you currently taking a pre-req? I am re-taking physio and class ends on the 5/19 actually. I hope this won't deter them from considering my application.

Fingers crossed that lots of news comes out tomorrow! I have a feeling it will. I previously thought that calls would come late afternoon but my call today was around noon. The call came from a guy who said he will be my point of contact throughout the whole program so it was more of an advisor than an admissions person (I think). He said I will receive an email with the details I need about orientation and to register for classes and that a packet will arrive via snail mail in the next few days. When I log in to my application it still says SUBMITTED but the "to be reviewed after the deadline" part is no longer there. Anyway I am so happy as this is my second time applying so if anyone else has heard please post so we can start to communicate!

I received a phone call this afternoon, as well! I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. Maybe we can meet up for coffee to get to know one another and possibly talk about living/carpool situations? I will definitely look up the facebook group.
