University of San Francisco Entry Level MSN CNL spring 2014

Published

Has anyone else out there applied to University of San Francisco Entry Level MSN CNL program for spring 2014?

Still out of town for the holiday, and the closer I get to home the faster my heart beats in anticipation. :o

No news yet

@haha09...I don't see an evaluation form at the end of mine. Where exactly is it located on your application?

@aa854 click on view application and then go to print forms. It will then ask if you want to view your application in html or PDF format. The CNL evaluation form is the page right after my resume on my app.

I can't believe only one person has heard back! I'm on my way home after a week away and I'm so anxious! Good luck to everyone!

@andaughe….. Congratulations! Persistence is definitely important. I find it unusual that only one person on here has found out that they have been accepted. Usually they will call you to let you know that you have been accepted, nonetheless there should be more of you hearing this week, and as has been said before some of you may not hear until just before the orientation date in January. Do not lose faith. Always have a game plan, if you don't get in this time around you'll have an opportunity to apply early next year. I can't emphasize enough that the Info Sessions held here on campus at Lone Mountain are very helpful, as they basically walk you through exactly what you need to get in and how to get in. It also gives you a chance to talk to the admissions people for the School of Nursing; what more could you ask for.

Hi Everyone! I received my acceptance letter for USF's ME-CNL program Cohort 17! I never got a phone call and my online status still says "Application Submitted." I think the admissions committee is focusing on sending out the pertinent information, which is time sensitive since the program starts in a little over a month! In regards to MN2b's comments, I found that attending the info. session really helped me with my statement of purpose. I wish everyone the best of luck!

SJforlife11,

Did the letter come today? Where do you live?

Hi all,

Spoke with the office today. First admission letters went out on Wednesday, obviously, but they will be trickling out over the next 2 weeks. Some get calls, some don't just depends on time, basically the more calls the less time to review and admit students so calls are not a priority right now, but again some calls some not, no formula on how you will hear. good luck! and yes some people do get a call right before orientation so you never know

I want to ask those who have been accepted if you don't mind.

As someone mentioned earlier, do you see the CNL evaluation in your application? And do you have both applicant ID&USF ID?

I want this anxiety to go away ASAP :o

@haha09 Yes I also have a CNL evaluation form at the end of my application along with a USF ID, but I still haven't heard anything. The wait is painful.....Hopefully they are still sending out acceptances :nailbiting:

I also have an evaluation form and USF ID. I suspect we might be overanalyzing because of the anxiety. I was SO bummed when I got home on Sunday to an empty mailbox, but it makes me feel better to read that others are in the same boat!

Finally found the evaluation form you guys are talking about! My hunch is that that is a cheat sheet type thing for admissions to quickly reference pre-req grades and GPA. It has been quite the ride of emotions! I was originally eagerly checking email, then eagerly checking every caller ID, and now I am eagerly checking the mail! Keep the updates coming!
