University of San Francisco Entry Level MSN CNL spring 2014

Published

Has anyone else out there applied to University of San Francisco Entry Level MSN CNL program for spring 2014?

I found the group, but it took awhile to find it.

After a little searching I was able to find it. For me, it was not showing up through a search on the FB app (on iPhone). I then found it on FB (on computer) by doing a search and at the bottom of the list of options (bottom screen on the right) doing another search under " search all usf cnl cohort." Then the one for "USF CNL cohort 17" appeared. Thanks for setting it up, SJ.

Thanks for the info, I was able to find it on my laptop as well and not on my phone. See you all at orientation!

We'll I'm on the waiting list but I suppose that's better than a denial letter. I hope I get the call saying there is a spot open and I'm in. I'm so excited that I still have a chance. I hope to see you all at orientation. Merry Christmas!!

The letter said I have until Jan.3 to leave a deposit for my seat (I did)...so I imagine they'll have a better idea of available seats again by that following week in Jan

I think admissions was due to return from the holiday today (the 3rd) and it seems like decisions are due by today too... hopefully my fellow waitlisters will hear soon! Im wondering how many are on the list. Seems like 3-4 have commented on this forum.

still waiting here. I was told that they will go through the wait list again and release acceptances around the 10th.

for those who are waiting, check your application status online.

thanks @katie88... yep looks like decisions are up. no such luck here. the letter said they accepted more people than they had spots so probably not looking good for the waitlist. time to start reapplying!

Hi all!

I know it has been a while, but in preparation for reapplication, I am trying to find a *clinical* volunteer gig, but it seems nearly impossible if you're not a part of school program. Any advice on this?

Thanks a billion!

Hello all! I will be applying to the MSN CNL program at USF for Fall '17 and I wanted to know if anyone who is in the program could give me their stats? (GPA, health care experience, all that) I want to see what kind of chance I have. I received A's in all of my pre nursing courses but studied a very rigorous undergraduate major (biology and chemistry) so cummulatively my GPA is about a 3.5ish. I have 4 years of experience working as a medical assistant in 2 different clinics, over 1 year of experience as a medical scribe through the department of public health in SF, and over 1 year of experience volunteering at UCSF corpus clinic treating homeless patients. The CNL role is such a huge passion of mine and I just want to get in so badly! Thank you all for the help!

Would you be willing to let me see your statement? I am applying for MSN CNL for spring 17' and I want to see an example!
