I received a call this morning as well: I've been accepted. The person who called me said several phone calls will be made today, and letters will be in the mail. (This person also said their holiday break begins after today.) Cheers.

Congratulations to both of you, ksfiles and seng! Now you can truly enjoy your holidays and be anxiety free. We have quite the little class coming together! Does anyone know how to assemble a facebook group for our cohort? It would be so nice to put names to faces and have another outlet for communication. I attempted to make one but am unsure of how to invite others to it.

MSNCNL14 I really appreciate your input! I am now also leaning toward working. If you can pull 26 hours/week, I should be able to manage at least one day/week. Thanks again!

11:15am they called me and left a message to call them back. The person who called was still in but mentioned being busy with calls today and beginning holiday break afterwards. Don't give up hope yet, I'm sure they'll be doing more calls in January (not everyone offered a seat will accept the offer...and they'll want to fill every seat possible).

Congrats to those who got accepted in. I was wondering if anyone knew about anything about the waitlist? I understand that people on the waitlist are basically on hold to wait for those who decide not to go to USF... but does anyone know when we would find out (time frame) if we get in or not? and how? (phone call? email?) Also, I know on the website, it states that 40 people are accepted into each cohort.... so how many people actually get on the waitlist? I mean.. 40 people is not that many.. so would they put a lot of people on the waitlist as well? I would hope that they would put less than 10 on the waitlist..(wishful thinking) but yea... ANY information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering the same thing. When I called the Nursing department she said that students on the wait list are not going to be assigned a number. She just said that if there is room, staff would look at all the applicants on the wait list then pick from there. She also said they would have a better idea of how many slots are available around Jan. 10.
