University of Rochester fall 2020 ABPNN

Just trying to find others out there that applied to university of Rochester's ABPNN for September 2020 start! Anyone have their interview scheduled?? Done with their interview?

You're welcome. Yeah, I think so. I had a strong personal statement as well and both references were from physicians I've been working for. So I think that helped. Yeah, I'm definitely calling in. I'm already nervous as is.

Interviews have been going on since the 1st or 2nd of March I believe. There was only one time slot available for me when I received the email to schedule my interview so I just took it.

agreed! thats awesome. is this the only school youre applying to? I heard amazing things about this program apparently the faculty is super supportive and they actually dont want people to fail

Yeah, mine was on March 2nd, haven’t heard of any others before that date so far.

Yes, they said they can either choose fall 2020 or choose to defer to 2021. So hopefully that just means a bigger fall 2020 cohort and not less seats available to prospective students.

oh okay, thanks..sending you good juju hopefully we both get in! did your interview have a lot of situationual questions or was it mainly direct? mine is tm AM and I am so nervous, which is weird cause I'm never nervous for interviews. any tips or anything you wish you knew before you had your interview?

You too!! I’m sure you will do great. My questions were more direct. Pretty straight forward standard interview questions. She went through my resume and asked me a few questions about some of my experiences. No curveballs for me at least! That was my first time doing zoom interview so I was nervous about that but once we figured that out it was fine. She made me feel a lot less nervous once we started.
