My name is Justine. I applied for U of R ABPNN for January of '19. I am still waiting for a response for an admissions decision but haven't heard anything back. Has anyone else applied and heard back from the program?
From what I've heard from students that have been admitted in the past is that if you get in you will receive both a call and a letter on the same day. If you are waitlisted or not accepted then you get a just a letter. Upside is there is always a chance to get
waitlisted if you don't get in, downside to being waitlisted is that they can call you literally 2 weeks before the program starts. I wish everyone the best. Hopefully we all make it
Who did you speak to? I didn't want to get everyone riled up before, but when I called last week I was actually told the decision on my application ( informally). It seems odd that they are telling you something different now.
It's frustrating that we are getting different answers. I emailed Nancy and she said They were finalizing applications and decisions will be made the first week of October.
I'm more inclined to believe Nancy, since she works with admissions to the program . No offense to whoever works at the front desk- but she may not know what's happpening/specific details since the nursing school has so many programs and she is be general phone person.
Exactly @rocgirl ..I'm sure NK would know better than anyone else. Even the secretary i spoke with admitted that she doesn't know where they are at in the process at this moment and she suggested that I take a shot and just email Nancy.
