  1. If you didn’t go to Concordia then you shouldn’t have anything bad to say about it. I attend Concordia’s nursing program and it is a good program in my opinion.
  2. I am currently in my first semester of the program. The program is in no way easy. I have never heard someone say nursing school is easy. I spoke to other nurses who graduated from the program and they said that the school prepared them. The school is tough, you need to really work for your grades and to maintain your spot in the program. If you’re a disciplined student you’ll make it through, if not, you won’t.
  3. Trying to PM you but I can't figure out how! LOL
  4. Oh WOW! I actually would like to know what they said about the college. I would hate to start and have to drop out later on. Also, who did you call to get an update on your application, an advisor or the admissions office?
  5. Hey I am still waiting to hear back if I got in. What were your stats? I’ve spoken to one student that attended and graduated from the program and she said that the program started with about 90 students and graduated with 36 students. She said professors are really tough in the beginning because they know everyone won’t make it. She said a C+ is passing in the program and also that it was very intense. Her best advice to me was to make friends in the program and form a study group to help one another because the best way to pass is to work with your classmates and exchange resources like study guides / notes for example.
  6. Hey. How long after submitting the application did you get an answer? Hey. How long after submitting did you get an acceptance?
  7. If you don't mind me asking, what were your stats? Also, I was looking up accreditation for this program and it says online that their accreditation ends in June 2020. I'm a little worried about that because I'm not too sure how accreditation works, I just don't want to attend a school that isn't accredited for obvious reasons.
  8. Hello Everyone, I am in the process of applying for the ABSN program at The College Of Mount Saint Vincent for the Fall 2020 semester. Has anyone else applied or attended the program? What can you tell me about it?
  9. Hey! I am finishing up applying for the Fall 2020. From what I know, their admission is rolling so I should hear back soon.
  10. Hi everyone, I am currently applying to Absn programs in NYC. One of my top choices is the College of Mount Saint Vincent. They have a campus in queens opening Fall 2020. However, I was looking at their accreditation and it seems that it will be ending June 2020. Does that mean they won’t be accredited in fall 2020? I’m a little confused about accreditation and I don’t want to end up spending my money on a program that isn’t accredited
  11. What cycle did you apply for? And how were your stats if you don't mind me asking
  12. Hi everyone, My name is Justine. I applied for U of R ABPNN for January of '19. I am still waiting for a response for an admissions decision but haven't heard anything back. Has anyone else applied and heard back from the program?
  13. What were your stats ?
  14. I have considered taking the LPN route however you do need LPN experience in order to bridge to RN and I feel that it would take me atleast 3 1/2 years to get to a BSN RN level and I am still looking to become an NP. LPN programs are costly as well. I will take a look at those Universities though, thanks! I apprecitate that.
  15. Thanks, I've never heard of ADN but I will look into it!
