University of Rochester ABPNN 2019

Hi everyone,

My name is Justine. I applied for U of R ABPNN for January of '19. I am still waiting for a response for an admissions decision but haven't heard anything back. Has anyone else applied and heard back from the program?

I know, it seems like the threads for past groups have been so much more active! I'm pretty sure they will start giving out acceptances near the end of the month. Not sure if there are still any interviews happening. My coworker had applied for the May 2017 cohort and I think he emailed Nancy and she told him an exact date when the decisions would be finalized, so he called on that day and got his decision over the phone rather than waiting for the mailed packet.

Hopefully, it means not so many people have applied this cycle lol I can't believe getting into nursing school has become so competitive.

Unfortunately that's not the case I was told by my interviewer how many applied and it was a lot . I commented about it previously but can't remember the number right now.

Haha maybe its just because the thread title says 2019 and not January 2019 so it's harder to find??

I'm super nervous!! The lack of chatter on this posting makes me feel like am I the only one excited and anxious about this?? Lol I check this blog almost everyday!

I'm also anxious but trying to keep my mind off of it haha. I'm trying to make myself wait until at least the week of the 24th before calling but I really want to know if they have started to make decisions or what.

Yes I did email Nancy last month and she said decisions won't be made until the end of September so I doubt they made the decisions yet. Absolutely let's all keep each other updated!
