  1. I love that idea! If you manage to get your hands on any, please share!
  2. I haven't heard anything either! I really want to start applying for my loans, but don't want to do that until after i hear about financial aid. It makes planning things difficult!
  3. i spoke to him on Tuesday and he said it would be "soon." No specific date, but I got the impression that he hasn't received the information from the government yet, but is expecting it any day now.
  4. I didn't hear back about the waitlist. I called them a lot and harassed them. They can call you up until the first day of classes if a spot opens. I was called and accepted first round for the January start date. I think it helped that they had all my grades for my prereqs when I reapplied.
  5. I did check the reapply box on the waitlist letter, and they reused everything from the first one. I didn't have to send them anything else or give them another check or do anything else. I did, however, retake one of my prereqs and make sure they got that grade (I took micro in college a million years ago and had a C+, so I retook it at UR online to have a more recent and higher grade).
  6. Did you all get your financial aid info from the office yet? I haven't heard anything
  7. I'm an old person, so I definitely qualify as independent. Unfortunately the government likes to take the money I make working full time into account which I won't be doing when I'm in school, so I doubt I'll get much. But I also signed up for the early labs! Yay!
  8. Oh. And I called the admissions office several times and pretty much forced them to take off the holds. I had everything in, I handed it directly to people and watched them go through all the papers. The lady in the office told me that I don't NEED to sign up for classes today and that a lot of people don't have all their stuff in yet, but I really want to sign up for classes, so I pushed it pretty hard.
  9. Nope. Still can't do it. But I got all my holds taken care of, so I'll be able to sign up for classes today! Wooh!
  10. I haven't been able to yet either, but the UHS website says "Winter Open Enrollment - November 13 - January 31." Maybe it just hasn't switched over yet? I'll try again tomorrow, and if it doesn't work then, I'll probably start bothering the admissions office/UHS about it.
  11. I handed them in in person, so I'm hoping they'll get processed fairly quickly. Also, I just spoke to the financial aid guy, and he said he expects to have more information for us likely later this week. he's just waiting for the FAFSA results/whatever stuff to come in to him and then he'll reach out to us.
  12. I haven't gotten anything yet either. I wish we would soon! I want to get everything figured out. I did, however, get the last of those billions of papers turned in today. If we have everything in, I think we get to sign up for classes later this week!
  13. yes. I think we have to wait until november 13th to do that, something to do with open enrollment. I ran into that problem too!
  14. not sure if you guys knew this, but the respirator testing paperwork for accepted students doesn't have to be completed. We just have to fill out the personal information part and send that in, and we'll be doing that testing in groups once school starts. I called UHS because I wasn't sure where i could get that done.
  15. They have the January start date schedule posted online now! I don't know what all of it means, but it's exciting to see what our schedules will be like! https://son.rochester.edu/assets/pdf/schedules/2019-spring-january.pdf
