University of Rochester ABPNN Spring 2020

Published

Hi all,

I did not see another forum for the U of Rochester ABPNN Spring 2020 (January entry) yet, so I figured it would be a good time to make one since we will all be submitting our apps soon! Has anyone submitted yet?

Has anyone calculated the total cost of attendance I came down to 48k for the BSN and 140k for the BSN/MSN combined

How did you get 48k for the BSN? From what I am reading tuition alone is 75K (a little more than $24K per semester.

Hi all! Has anyone heard from admissions yet? Its getting so hard to wait!

I have not heard anything. The lady told me in my interview that they will be making decisions in September so hopefully soon!

The waiting game is horrible!!

I know! I am so anxious.

Specializes in MSN-E student.

Good Luck to everyone! I applied by the July 1st deadline and had a phone interview with a faculty member by the name Marina which I thought went really well but who knows. I am applying from California

Submitted my application on June 19th. Interviewed in July. I called them for updates. I was told we should start hearing from them soon - last week in September.
Good luck to all applicants.

Hey I have an interview scheduled for tomorrow and don’t even know what to say or what will be asked. I hope all goes well, I’ll keep you updated and good luck to everyone!

Hi all! Is anyone else in the online pre-reqs through the U of R? Specifically Anatomy and Physiology?

Hi Loress,

Assuming all interview formats/questions are the same, I was asked questions such as, why nursing, why Rochester’s program, what can you tell me about yourself that I couldn’t get from your app/ essay (pretty much a, “tell me about yourself” type of deal).

It was very straight forward and nothing that was out of the norm. Good luck to you!

Hi. Yes but it’s still a little nerve wrecking haha. I just finished my interview.
