  1. See Provision 9 of the ANA code of ethics: Provision 9 "The profession of nursing, collectively through its professional organizations, must articulate nursing values, maintain the integrity of the profession, and integrate principles of social justice into nursing and health policy." So as stated above, I can definitely advocate to increase standards in my own profession.
  2. I followed this entire thread. Is there a petition that can be signed or a letter than can be written up to describe the sub par education we are receiving. As a MSN student who is about to graduate, and surrounded by many students who have no interest in pursuing bedside or community health nursing- being able to easily get into an NP online program is truly disturbing! I would be more than happy to start one if needed!
  3. I also just received my rejection letter ? but fortunately already accepted a spot at Johns Hopkins for their MSN program. Would've been nice to stay in CA but oh well. Good luck to everyone!
  4. I was just accepted off of the wait list. Very excited to meet all my future fellow classmates! I'll be coming in from California:)
  5. Does anyone have an idea of how many students have been accepted off the waitlist in recent cohorts??
  6. I just called the admissions office to inquire about the waitlist and Sara told me we won't find out if we'll receive an admission offer until late November ?
  7. I just accepted a spot on the waitlist for spring 2020 ? not feeling too hopeful but we'll see
  8. I live in downtown Long Beach- almost out of LA area and will have to relocate up there if accepted. No way I'm taking the 405 from LB to northridge daily.
  9. I saw from your previous posts that you were waitlisted for the Fall 2019 cohort. Did you do anything different this time around to get accepted? I applied for the Spring 2020 cohort and have a feeling I might get waitlisted or flat out rejected due to my undergrad gpa ?
  10. No ? I spoke with Yvone earlier today and they said notices go out early November.
  11. Thank you! Yes I called admissions and they stated it was fine, but I still felt that it made my application look bad even though there wasn't much I could do at that point.
  12. Good Luck to everyone! I applied by the July 1st deadline and had a phone interview with a faculty member by the name Marina which I thought went really well but who knows. I am applying from California
  13. I am so nervous to hear back. One of my letter of rec writers submitted their letter mid July so I am not sure when I will hear back. I submitted my application before the July 1st deadline.
