University of Rochester ABPNN Spring 2020

Hi all,

I did not see another forum for the U of Rochester ABPNN Spring 2020 (January entry) yet, so I figured it would be a good time to make one since we will all be submitting our apps soon! Has anyone submitted yet?

Has anyone attended an open house session? If so, do you think taking 1-2 days off from work and a 6 hour drive worth doing so

I have not gone to an open house, only because I currently live in Rochester and I work at the University's medical center, but if you want to check out the campus/school/area, it may be a good idea.

Also, I emailed Nancy last week to see if she had a estimated time frame for when they will be sending out acceptance notices and she said they are anticipating the "end of September."

Oh yay! Was going to call today and ask the estimated time frame we would be notified. Hopefully next week!

Not yet. I think I saw people in previous cohorts hear back on a Friday but After wait so long, I’ve become numb haha

I have not heard anything yet! I was thinking by Friday as well after reading the older forums. I might send Nancy an email on Friday if I don't hear anything.

Hi all,

I called the University of Rochester ABSN Department yesterday. The phone answerer --I cannot remember her name -- told me that Spring 2020 applicants will be notified this Friday via email.
