University of Rochester ABPNN MAY 2019

Hey everyone!

I recently applied to UOR ABPNN for May of '19. I had my interview on October 9th. I am waiting for a response from admissions but have not heard anything back yet. I read online from their FAQ ~12 weeks you will receive an admission. I have read previous posts and saw people were getting their decision in February and so fourth.

Has anyone else applied to this program and heard anything back yet?

Hey guys, I just had my interview today and the person I spoke with said that they will be having the final decisions on the last week of February.

Well this is going to be a rough winter. Did your interview go well?

@Kevin24 I think it went well, the person I got asked me questions that weren't the conventional interview questions, but we talked about my resume as well as my personal life. I answered her questions to the rest of my ability but I kept stuttering because I was so nervous. It only lasted about 25 minutes but I think it's because she had another interview coming up right after. I'm hoping I passed the interview!

Also, is anyone relocating to attend this program? I live in NYC.

@nursing915 I’m looking to relocate from PA. Waiting until end February is making me nervous. Leaves a little over 60 days to make some drastic moves.

For some reason the acceptance notification date was pushed back to end of February per an email I got from the admissions rep. I was afraid to ask additional questions and she didn’t provide any reason for the delay.

Did you email and ask or did they email you first?

I just got off the call with Nancy, and she said decisions aren't made yet as they are still interviewing. She projects calls will be made by Feb. 25th but will call sooner if decisions are made before then.
