Hi! Did you mean you had your interview Nov 9th? I applied, but haven't heard anything. I'm also super sad/dumb...I've been really busy lately so I haven't checked my application checklist till now...and I just saw they don't have any of my transcripts! I sent everything in August! Now I'm freaking out since it's already been 16 days past the deadline and I haven't heard anything!

Hello! I just completed the interview today. The interviewer said we will most likely get a response by late Jan/early Feb, so right now is just the waiting game. We'll keep each other posted!

@Kristi20 - I think you should give Nancy Kita a call and ask. She's really nice and super helpful, so she can give you some advice on what to do.

Hi guys, has anyone in here applied for the AMPNN program as well? If so did you have an interview yet? From last years thread I understand that both AMPNN & ABPNN get interviewed around the same time?

I just scheduled my interview for Nov 29 and I applied to the AMPNN. I was informed it was two parts and if you're accepted in the ABPNN then you would get interviewed for the master's portion.

Hello! No I had it October 9.. I applied September 11, 2018 before the November 1 deadline.

@kittyxgram Oh! I didn't know they reviewed applications before the deadline, but that's great to have it early! Have you heard back?

Had my interview today. It went fairly well. My interviewer was a faculty member of the abpnn program. I talked to my interviewer for approximately 45 minutes. The questions were a little more detailed and specific than expected. All the questions generated a bit of conversation during the interview. I think I was asked 8 or 9 questions total. I was also given some insight on what sections are accelerated, 5 week sections, or self-paced through online delivery. The interviewer did mention that this nursing program is designed so the students accepted in the program are not pitted against each other to remain in the program.
