University of Rochester ABPNN MAY 2019

Published

Hey everyone!

I recently applied to UOR ABPNN for May of '19. I had my interview on October 9th. I am waiting for a response from admissions but have not heard anything back yet. I read online from their FAQ ~12 weeks you will receive an admission. I have read previous posts and saw people were getting their decision in February and so fourth.

Has anyone else applied to this program and heard anything back yet?

Hello,

I'm currently in 3rd semester now.

1st Semester - transitions you into the accelerated program. The first semester is hard because you have to get used to the type of questions that they ask you on exams (select all that apply).

2nd Semester - content is easier compared to 1st semester but you get weekly exams (which was annoying) because you're literally studying every single week.

3rd Semester - very tough because med surg is pretty hard.

Conclusion: fast-paced but manageable

any scholarship available for current ABSN student?

I received mine last Wednesday. It's sent out individually!

If you don't mind me asking, how much aid was offered?

Couldn’t say. They are all well rounded people with strengths in a variety of different intelligences. It’s cool to be a part of such a diverse group of people.

Around how much is the bill for the first semester?

I had my ID number from registering for your nutrition course. I just saw some of the checklist courses were populated to my account. I hadn’t received any of the other feedback.

It was fairly easy, straightforward and self paced.

Thank you. Considering taking a class with them over the Summer. Because you took a class with them did you apply as a non-matriculated student? If you can remember?
