Following, in the process of finishing up my application.
I don't have my hopes up in that this is one of the top 10 CRNA schools in the nation. My stats are acceptable but not outstanding. My experience is not bad. 2 years level II trauma SICU (still currently working there- will be 3 yrs ICU by time of start), 2 years telemetry med surg and Intermediate care. I have ACLS, BLS, PALS, CCRN.
I have a feeling this school is looking for high GPAs/GRE scores and although my GPA is acceptable it's nothing to brag about. I take the GRE in about two weeks and have been studying hard and not excited about it. lol..
Good luck everyone!

Good luck with the GRE. It is not fun lol. I would rather take the NCLEX. ? Hopefully we get calls and acceptance letters. My stats briefly are 1.5 years ICU experience by program start date. 3.9 GPA, 310 total on GRE with 4.0 in writing. I plan on completing CCRN by start date. I also have some study abroad experience. The thing that worries me is limited experience and clinical questions during the interview. I am trying to learn as much as possible in the meantime.
The GRE is a terrible predictor of graduate school success, but I guess it does help narrow the field of potential candidates by showing who is serious about studying for it.
I’ve submitted my application...nothing to do now, but to wait and hope for an interview! Best of luck everyone!!! I’m very impatient lol

Hi everyone,
I created this feed for nurses applying to or already accepted to the CRNA program at Pitt that begins January 2020. Has anyone submitted their application yet? Has anyone received a call for interviews? I know it is early in the process but waiting is so hard. If you feel comfortable posting stats, please feel free. Hope to hear from some nurses soon.
