Don’t really know, but I doubt it, since at least someone on here would’ve mentioned something. It’s been a bit of a mess with the whole coronavirus and shutting down of the colleges, and having to go to online and adjust for testing and lab and such plus clinical sites for third years. I’m hoping you guys hear soon, but it has been really overwhelming for the professors and stuff director trying to get everything arranged. If I hear anything I’ll let u know

I would say go for it, worst case you earn the experience and make yourself known. Talk about your experiences as a military nurse, those might be strengths as well. Experience does give you points but only so much does. That’s not the only thing they look at.

I applied last year to wcu, is very clinical interview, they drill you so be ready. And don’t oversee any little details, they will ask you the smallest detail you could imagine. But they are nice. And know your lead placement like the back of your hand, one of the faculty is big on it! There is even a podcast that they do at the school call “from the head of the bed” and they talk a lot about those things, there is one about lead placement by that professor. I totally made a fool of myself when i went.

You guys have some incredible stats! Wish mine were that great. GPA 3.42 overall, GRE 312, CCU 2.5 years, CCRN-CMC, done charge, preceptor, shadowed around 45hrs, they limit us at my hospital on shadowing, they say its a burden to the staff at times so they limit it. I interviewed on that last day in the afternoon, still hopeful.

Not that i know of. I interviewed last week and nothing.

Yeah it seems that way too. Idk but that just makes me feels pretty anxious.
