My interview is in the 1-5 slot on the 29th, so they have afternoon slots at least on that first day as well.

I'm not sure. I know they only accept a small amount, 15-20 I think? But not sure how many they interview. It's been heavily clinical based in the past from what I've been told.

I got mine just a little bit ago! So excited, wasn't how it would work out given how selective they are.

I don't think we'll hear anything until the end of this month or early June given past years posts. So maybe next week sometime?

Most programs seem to interview about twice as many people as they admit, so would be ~100 here. But I don't recall what if any numbers of applicants and interviews they threw out in their info sessions so it definitely could be that many people. Usually seems like >200 apply, 70-100 interview, and admit 30-50 depending on the school. These programs are so popular these days.

I need to find more people joining me on the 8th! I'm getting very excited.

Hey! I have my interview with UAB on July 8th. I think they usually spread them out a bit and do them in chunks. I don't remember exactly how many people they said they usually have apply, but I feel like it was at least a couple hundred? And I think they said their interview was largely EI questions, though some clinical thrown in.

JennyChi already filled you in on the skills pack, so I won't go over that. For uniforms, you *might* be able to find one used. My guess is no though. Honestly, they get a bit worn out. It's a white top that you wear 1-2 times a week depending on if you have one or two sets. You can't wash it very hot because the red on the decal will leach. So eventually, they aren't quite as white as they originally were. The pants you can save money on: you can do an amazon search for the specific item number listed on the Meridys site to find the product on amazon. Make sure you only get the styles they have listed, since they don't like you getting other stuff. The benefit of doing this on amazon is you can do trial and error to get your proper fit. I've found the sizing on the pants is very strange, and it took me a few tries to get the right fit. Mostly, they're huge. I'm a M in normal sizes but I wear XS in these scrubs. Also you really don't need the lab coat. The benefit of it is if you want to wear something long sleeved to clinical, since you aren't allowed to wear a jacket. Nobody really does this though; we mostly just wear under scrubs under our tops. Let me know if you have any other questions!
