University of Oklahoma ABSN 2017

Published

Hey! I haven't seen a post for this yet, but is anyone out there applying to OU's ABSN program for 2017 matriculation?

I was accepted and am hoping to meet others accepted and if anyone knows any alumni as I am curious about what to expect and how the prof are.

I was accepted. I'm curious like you. I was accepted for the Duncan/Lawton campus that is starting in January.

Did those on the waitlist get waitlisted for each of the locations they chose? Has anyone been accepted?

Yeah I really want to know if anybody has gotten in off the waitlist yet

Also curious. Anyone accepted off the wait list or know someone who was?

So im assuming nobody knows what the waitlist status is? Please let us know if you do! :)

You will meet with the senior ABSN they will let you know what to expect when you start. You will be paired with a senior although they are done by spring break (semester and school). There will be multiple people to ask questions to. In the mean time enjoy the rest of your free time. I say this because you are not going to have much time for anything else for the next 14 months. See you in January!

I emailed Margaret and she said they did have a few spots open up (which I guess got filled) and that alternates would he contacted by phone. She said that spots could still open up from now until the start of the program

Well crap.

Yeah, I was like please tell me if there is anything else I can do to get accepted

Hey guys! I graduated from OU's OKC ABSN program this past summer 2016. If anyone has a question about my experience in the program or questions in general, feel free to ask or message me!

Congratulations on your graduation!!! I am assuming that you've passed the NCLEX and been hired by now or moved onto another degree...
