Hello! I made this forum to connect with applicants or those planning to apply to UNLV's new MSN program for those with a non-nursing degree. Does anyone know when they'll start reviewing applications? It doesn't say on the website whether it is a rolling admission or not.

I am applying to Spring 2024 but for some reason I cannot find the instructions for the letter of intent. Does anyone know where I can find this information?

For those of you who got accepted, do you mind sharing what our letter of intent should look like? I can't find the instructions on that either.

I was able to figure it out. Once you submit your application you will receive and email with an assessment and instructions for the letter of intent. My question was to describe and experience where you use time management and it had to be 300 words. Hope this is helpful!

I was wondering, for those who have been through the application process, about how long before the term start date did you hear back regarding an admissions decision? I applied mid-October for the Nov 1st deadline (admission Spring '24) and haven't heard a peep. Just wondering how close they cut it to the term start date to give you a decision and get your things in order!

About 7 weeks before the program start date. I found out I was accepted on 7/21 and orientation was 8/14 with program start date of 9/11.

I'm also on the same boat, I submitted a couple weeks before Spring 24 deadline and also still waiting on a response. Beginning of November I asked them when we should expect to hear back and they replied with thanksgiving week, although it looks like we're gonna have to wait a little longer. I am really hoping to hear back before the deadline for Summer 24 cohort which is Dec 1 just in case for a back up ?
