Has anyone applied to the University of Michigan's 2nd degree accelerated nursing program for start date Sept. 2014? Just curious to see what other applicants there are out there. I saw a very long thread in the past that had a lot of info on how long UofM takes to make decisions & felt we could all keep each other in the loop on how things are going for each of us. Good luck to all!
haha yes. it is possible they released the waitlist decisions before the acceptance decisions so that if the accepted people reject their placement then they would already have committed waitlist people ready. I am hoping that is the case and we will all get in, but they could be a little more timely about this!
Hello all. Good day. Sorry, I forgot to mention I'm from um flint, I thought this thread was for um flint, should have know there could be people at Ann Arbor also. Keep the faith all of you, as for me I hoping there is a few people not accepting going into the program, as I'm still on the alternate list. Mags222 hope to see you at orientation in May and anyone else that gets in there.
Just got the e-mail from U of M saying they are still reviewing applications and they should be done by mid-May. I'm getting married May 17th so fingers crossed that we know before then....actually fingers crossed that we find out the week before that because I wont have time to deal with that kind of good or bad news the week of my wedding, lol.

Are you guys talking about the University of Michigan-Flint Program? I have been accepted to that program and the orientation date is on May 9. I have also applied for the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor Program. I called and they said they are trying to release all of the decisions by early May, as others have been saying on this forum. However, it sounded like they haven't sent any decisions out yet, maybe I am wrong? It is extremely unfortunate that they are waiting this long because I have to let UM-Flint know if I accept my spot by April 14th, and UM-Ann Arbor will most likely not be giving me a decision by then. I might just go to UM-Flint based on how much more organized and forward they were about giving information, as well as the friendliness of everyone that I have talked to over the phone that is involved in their program.
