It was actually a little weird, I didn't see an "accept by this date" anywhere in the email but when I looked at my Umich student page "wolverine access" it said that I accepted admission into the University. I was definitely going to accept regardless but I didn't click anything to do it. pjane: I think they definitely do look at the whole picture. I think they really like if you have previous experience with volunteer work like you said because just looking at their statistics from previous years, they have a lot of people who have already worked in a healthcare job or volunteered.

I graduated from UofM for my first bachelors degree with a prerequisite gpa of around 3.7/8 but my overall gpa was about 3.4. I got my CNA a year ago and worked at a nursing home for 7 months. I also did home care. I volunteered at Mott children's hospital for about a year and a hospice before that. My sophomore year of undergrad I applied to the sophomore transfer program for nursing and didn't get in so I basically did as much medically related stuff as I could after that!

haha yes it definitely began. I applied the day the application allowed submissions so that is why they probably told me quicker. I hope everyone gets in!! good luck :)

yeah they definitely keep pushing back the dates. they pushed back the deadline to march and now they are pushing back the date they release decisions. It is getting harder and harder to wait.

I got the same letter! It almost sounded like a rejection letter at first so I'm relieved there is still hope! Good luck everyone. Congrats on your weddings

Gotcha! so no news, at least on this forum, from the Ann Arbor program.

haha yes. it is possible they released the waitlist decisions before the acceptance decisions so that if the accepted people reject their placement then they would already have committed waitlist people ready. I am hoping that is the case and we will all get in, but they could be a little more timely about this!

Oh that's a good point. I have been talking about the Ann arbor program. Have the people who received waitlist notifications been talking about Ann arbor or flint?

yeah, trying to stay optimistic. I was really hoping they would honor what they said about releasing decisions by May though.
