Hello Everyone,
Is anyone else applying for the Accelerated BSN program at the University of Miami to start in May 2018? I am just finishing up my application now and hoping to submit it in a week or two. I'd like to connect to some others also applying!
I look forward to hearing from you all!
CHECK YOUR CANELINK GUYS!!!!!! I'm accepted!!! Can't wait to meet all of you!Congrats! I submitted my application January 24 and got my CaneLink. UM said that as long as you submit before deadline (which I did), they will give 2 weeks for everything to come in. NursingCAS JUST verified my transcripts (took so long!) and they say it takes 2-4 weeks to deliver?!
When did NursingCAS verify your transcripts and how long did it take for status to go to complete?
Congratulations, GypsyRN05! Sadly, my Canelink isn't updated but I should be the in the next round of the decisions! One quick question, does your acceptance say how long or when by you have to let UM know of your decision to attend? I've applied to a few state school (more affordable tuition) and won't hear back from them until late February or early March.

If your application was submitted, it should at least say "Incomplete" and the date you submitted. You should def call UM and ask them and be sure they got everything they need!
NursingCAS is such a pain lol I can't believe they take so long! I submitted my application January 24 and they JUST sent my transcripts to UM, but I heard it can take an additional 2 to 4 weeks on top of that!

It says on their website you have 2 weeks to accept or deny offer. So if you haven't gotten your acceptance yet, then it may work in your favor and you'll be able to wait to hear back from your other schools :)
Thanks guys! My fingers are crossed that you guys will hear good news very soon!
@adnat86 I think it took a few weeks for everything to be verified through nursingcas. My canelink status said complete for a little over 2 weeks now. So if your status is showing complete, it will be soon!! :)
@ _emilyann Ahh it'll be soon i'm sure! We have 2 weeks to send in our deposit to secure our spot. So it's working in your favor if you're still waiting to hear from other schools!
@RNhopeful18 I would definitely call UM tomorrow to make sure everything is okay! Anna has always been super helpful when i've called :)

I applied January 2nd and mine still says incomplete. I wonder why for some people it has changed and for some it hasn't. I heard from others that it only changes to "complete" after a decision has been made
