university of Miami ABSN Summer 2017

The application cycle for University of Miami ABSN for Summer 2017 just opened today. Wondering if anyone is applying! I will be sending my application in a few weeks. Deadline is March 1st. But its rolling admission so the earlier you apply the earlier you hear back! Good luck to everyone. Also if someone is currently a student in the ABSN program, please share your thoughts about the program to help the rest of us who are applying :)

I'm also an applicant for the Summer 2017 cohort. I have had my application received/verified by both the school and NCAS however this was just over 10 days ago. Has anyone received acceptance as of yet?

I called today and apparently they're running about 2 weeks behind. We should hear something by Thanksgiving.

How did you guys get this canelink?

I submitted my CAS app about 4 weeks ago, and have not gotten any emails or mail to my home.

Hey Richard07,

I submitted my application just about 12 days ago. I have not received an email for a Canelink account either. Since you have submitted four weeks ago I would check with NCAS/ the school if they have verified your application.

I don't believe they have admitted any Summer 2017 as of yet. Usually, they admit for Summer closer to December for the first round.

It is sent to your registered e-mail address (NCAS). Be sure to check your SPAM mail. It is rather obscure and says something like "Welcome to Office 365".

My names Taylor and I have also recently applied to this program. I finally received my canelink on the 18th! Good luck to everyone who has applied! If I get in I will be looking for a roommate. Im from MI and Im not familiar with the area. If anyone has input on where to live and what not please let me know. Ill let you know as soon as I hear back from UM.

I received my canelink information as well. However, mines also says incomplete. I assume it's because they are probably still going through the applications.
