  1. Expect the first round of letters to go out in May. Good luck everyone!
  2. Miami just released the 3rd round of acceptances today!
  3. Miami uses the HESI as a benchmark during the program and at the end for exit. Clinicals start from the 1st semester. December break lasts a month and you get all the same holidays as the undergraduates listed on the academic calendar. Great program - can be tough given the accelerated nature. I recommend checking Jackson Memorial, Nicklaus Children's, Sylvester Cancer, University of Miami Hospital and Bascom Palmer to get a good idea of how their graduates are doing in higher level positions.
  4. This may help CRam1990. The academic bulletin for nursing with course descriptions: Nursing . I may not understanding your question, but it may be a good idea to give their academic advisor a call for more details.
  5. It seems positive admission decisions are sent through e-mail and regular mail. Wishing everyone the best!
  6. Plan of Study (1 year): http://acceleratedbsn.sonhs.miami.edu/plan-of-study/index.html I know that with loans, it is based upon how many credits and student loan amounts you have obtained during your initial undergraduate degree to determine your remaining federal aid. Most of us end up applying for HRSA scholarships or a mixture of private/federal loans.
  7. The recruiter said that orientation and itinerary information will be sent out toward the end of March to all admitted applicants. Orientation is supposed to be the week before the 1st day of classes.
  8. The next round of admission decisions should be going out tomorrow from what I heard. Also, a great resource for looking for housing around campus would be University of Miami | Off Campus Housing Search - I know that on-campus housing is not offered to students in this program and reserved for traditional students. Good luck all!
  9. It is sent to your registered e-mail address (NCAS). Be sure to check your SPAM mail. It is rather obscure and says something like "Welcome to Office 365".
  10. For the full-time program, it is not recommended to work. Several students that I know live off of financial aid while completing the 1-year program. I know there is a $30,000 scholarship (30 students) available for the Fall 2017 program from HRSA as well. This can definitely help with significantly reducing debt.
  11. Definitely be sure to set up your Canelink e-mail address. I know that is where all of the orientation / background / immunization information is sent for new students after the first "Get Ready" e-mail. Looking forward to a great Spring Semester! 12. @Bronski44 - Between 550 - 600 cases.
  13. I don't believe they have admitted any Summer 2017 as of yet. Usually, they admit for Summer closer to December for the first round.
